The lighting wizard- an alchemist of composition, Ken Whiting has been experimenting on film and digital sensors for over two decades. Ken is a filmmaker, a storyteller, and a multimedia experimental artist. With a background in photography, he stepped into the world of cinema. Cutting his teeth in film lighting as a gaffer, he worked on over 60 feature films. Transitioning into cinematography, Ken found his strength in telling stories in movement. This confidence encouraged his curiosities. Director, Director of Photography, and Photographer are titles Ken most associates with himself.
Having worked with brands like: Trasher Magazine, HuffPost, Buzzfeed, GLAMOUR, Budweiser, The Lip Bar, Fuji, Polaroid, Converse, Sprint, Shinola Detroit, Toyota, Ford, GM- Ken understands big productions. But his heart is in narrative film.
